Book clubs are gatherings of readers who meet with the express purpose of discussing an author’s work. This helps to build author brands and provide meaningful visibility for the work of authors as well. The book club presents a powerful opportunity for driving sales and online visibility to women writers who may have had limited resources for amplifying their voices and therefore have not had sufficient scope for fulfilling their potential. ​
